New Polypropylene Grades: An Important Step Towards Kazakhstan's Raw Material Independence
The production of polypropylene grades PP H031 BF/7, PP H253 FF/7, PP H350 FF/7, and PP H270 FF/7, previously imported, has become a significant event for Kazakhstan's polymer industry. These grades are now available to domestic polymer product manufacturers, reducing dependence on imports and promoting the development of domestic industrial sectors.

New Polypropylene Grades Have Wide Applications:

• Packaging labels and tape
• Household containers
• Stationery
• Household appliances

These grades are also used in the production of non-woven materials and fibers, such as agrotextiles, covering materials, construction geosynthetics (e.g., geogrids for road construction), and waterproofing. Additionally, they are used to produce sportswear, personal hygiene products, medical protective masks and gowns, tablecloths, disposable napkins, rugs, as well as packaging materials, orthopedic mattresses, lids, soft furniture, automotive filters, vacuum cleaner filters, respirators, bags, and cases.

The Launch of Domestic Production Has Several Important Advantages for Polymer Product Manufacturers:

• Cost Savings: Local production increases the availability of polymers and reduces transportation and logistics costs, positively impacting the economy of finished product manufacturers.

• Supply Stability: Risks associated with possible disruptions in international supplies are reduced.

• Support Programs for Processors: As part of the KPI surge program, clients are offered special commercial terms for the supply of polypropylene. This allows domestic manufacturers of finished products to be more competitive in producing import-substituting products and to develop export sales.

The production of new polypropylene grades is an important step towards strengthening Kazakhstan's industrial potential and raw material independence. The new grades not only meet domestic demand but also improve the country's position in the global polymer market, developing the country's non-resource exports.
