Kazakhstan Petrochemical Industries Inc. and the Kazakh-British Technical University signed a corresponding memorandum to develop scientific research and educational cooperation.
Within the framework of the agreement, guest lectures, internships for students and faculty with the involvement of experts, graduate recruitment, and joint events (symposiums, seminars, round tables, conferences) will be organized. Additionally, KPI employees will undergo professional development at the KBTU Continuing Education Department, participate in EMBA, DBA programs, and collaborate on training and participation in the KBTU collegiate bodies, such as the Industry Committee and Advisory Council.
During the meeting, KPI Inc.'s Head of PR and GR Service, Talgat Omarov, expressed confidence that the joint work of the petrochemical complex and KBTU University would be fruitful for both sides.
- KBTU is one of the leading technical universities in the country. Most graduates work in international oil and gas chemical companies in Kazakhstan and worldwide. Within the framework of today's memorandum, specialists from the country's petrochemical complex will give lectures at one of the best universities, such as KBTU. KBTU students will intern with us, and the distinguished ones will have the opportunity for employment, - he said.
Since its launch, the complex has been closely cooperating with educational institutions in the country. Today, students from various universities are interning at the plant, and master's and doctoral students are engaged in scientific research.
