KPI Company Signed Agreements for "Forsazh" to Develop Polymer Packaging Production in Kazakhstan
During the international plastics and polymers exhibition "Central Asia Plast World 2024", KPI signed agreements with local producers KazStoneBox LLP and EGP+I LLP within the framework of the "Forsazh" Program.

According to the signed documents, KPI will provide special raw material supply conditions to companies developing import-substituting goods or replacing traditional solutions with fully recyclable polymer ones produced from domestic raw materials.

KazStoneBox LLP produces corrugated cardboard from limestone with reinforcing polypropylene threads. There is no similar production in the CIS, making this product unique. This packaging is new to the Kazakhstan market, and the company aims to replace traditional cellulose corrugated cardboard packaging materials with polymer ones.

EGP LLP produces polypropylene cups used for packaging kefir, sour cream, and other Kazakhstani dairy products. EGP LLP plans to increase production and replace imported finished product supplies. The owners of EGP LLP expressed gratitude to KPI for creating the Forsazh Program, noting that support from KPI will not only strengthen their market position but also significantly improve the quality of their finished products. They emphasized the importance of the program for the development of domestic industry and noted that cooperation with KPI opens new opportunities for growth and innovation.
Until 2022, the polypropylene market in Kazakhstan was highly dependent on imports, with import shares ranging from 60% to 95%. Since the launch of the KPI Petrochemical Complex, this dependency has significantly decreased. The growth of the polypropylene processing industry in the country by the end of 2024 could reach 6% compared to 2023. As a result, by the end of the year, the volume of polypropylene processing in the domestic market of Kazakhstan could amount to 46 thousand tons (compared to 43 thousand tons in 2023), setting a new record for the domestic processing industry.

Danila Mogilevtsev, Director of Marketing and Sales at KPI:

KPI, within the framework of the "Forsazh" Program, is ready to provide processors with the necessary volume of raw materials (polypropylene) on special individually calculated conditions. Today, we signed agreements at the Central Asia Plast World 2024 exhibition within the frameworks of the "Import-substituting Boost" and "Industry Boost" programs. We invite all polypropylene product manufacturers to join our initiative and contribute to the development of the Kazakhstani market.
