KPI Inc. and Silk Road Electronics LLP signed a memorandum of cooperation and understanding on the sale of finished products made of polypropylene. Silk Road Electronics is an investment project for the production of household appliances and electronics. The investments attracted by the project amount to more than 20 billion tenge, the planned additional jobs will amount to 1,136 people.
The plant is being built in the Saran industrial zone of the Karaganda region. The plant's production capacity is more than 1 million items per year. The project is scheduled to launch in autumn 2023.
