On October 15, Energy Minister Magzum Mirzagaliyev visited a polypropylene production plant under construction in Atyrau region as part of a working trip to Atyrau region.
During the detour, the head of the department got acquainted with the progress of construction works, visited the railway overpass of the propane drain, the propane storage park, general factory premises, propane dehydrogenation and propylene polymerization plants, as well as the main step-down substation and warehouses of finished products.
To date, the overall progress of the project is more than 93%. General construction works, landscaping of the construction site are being completed, installation and testing of inter-shop engineering networks, tanks have been completed, about 28 thousand tons of metal structures, 596 thousand inches of technological pipelines have been installed, concrete works have been fully completed, as well as work on the installation of high and low pressure burners has been completed.
Recently, as part of the preliminary commissioning works, dry compressed air was obtained from Er Liquid Karabatan Tech Gases LLP, the pre-drying of the lining of propane dehydrogenation reactors and the regenerative air heating furnace was completed. Nitrogen intake is planned and tests of the gas pipeline for receiving natural gas will be carried out at the end of October.
Minister Magzum Mirzagaliyev noted the importance of the timely launch of the project and gave a number of instructions concerning the further development of the petrochemical industry.
