Journalists from the Italian state television channel “TG1 RAI” visited the KPI complex

In order to familiarize themselves with the work of the petrochemical complex for deep processing of raw materials and inform the European public, journalists from the TV channel “TG1 RAI” arrived at the KPI plant.

Representatives of the Italian media visited the Pressurized Storage Unit, the finished product warehouse, technological installations for propane dehydrogenation and propylene polymerization, and also got acquainted with the process of processing polypropylene granules. Damir Ashimov, KPI’s Executive Director, spoke about the company’s achievements over the year and the company’s plans. This year, the complex exported more than 19 thousand tons of polypropylene to Europe.
- We are currently releasing three grades. “By the end of the year we plan to release more new grades of polypropylene,” he said.

The KPI’s petrochemical complex currently provides permanent employment to 631 people. In addition, contracting companies employ about 1,000 specialists. The plant, which turned 1 year old in November, relies in its work on the UN Sustainable Development Program.
