On November 27–28, a meeting of the Kazakhstan-Swiss Business Council (KSBC) was held in Astana, attended by D.Ashimov, Chief Executive Officer of KPI Inc. LLP
As part of the business council meeting, a bilateral memorandum of cooperation was signed between KPI Inc. LLP and the Swiss company Burckhardt Compression AG. The document confirms the parties' intentions to develop technological and production cooperation, as well as expand their partnership in the field of industrial equipment.
Furthermore, a B2B meeting between the two companies' executives was held at the KSBC: D. Ashimov, Chief Executive Officer of KPI Inc., represented Burckhardt Compression AG, and the General Director of Fabrice Billard represented KPI Inc. The negotiations allowed the parties to discuss promising areas of cooperation, exchange strategic ideas, and confirm their mutual interest in a long-term partnership.
The signing of the memorandum complements the existing long-term collaboration between the companies and sets new benchmarks for future development. KPI's Integrated Petrochemical Complex (hereinafter referred to as the Complex) houses vital equipment—two piston compressors—for which Burckhardt Compression AG manufactures spare parts and provides maintenance services.
For three years, KPI has actively collaborated with Burckhardt Compression AG, repeatedly involving Service Engineers for maintenance. This year, a contract was signed for the supply of emergency spare parts. Next year, a contract is planned for the deployment of their specialists during shutdowns.
