KPI continues cooperation with Kazpolysnab in Almaty

Representatives of Kazakhstan Petrochemical Industries Inc. LLP (KPI) held a meeting with the management of Kazpolysnab— one of the first buyers of domestic polypropylene. During the meeting, the parties discussed the results of cooperation, current production needs and opportunities for further development of the partnership.
Kazpolysnab Company produces a wide range of hay-baling twine, glasshouse fibers and ropes. The company uses 500 tons of KPI polypropylene annually. The finished products are sold not only in the domestic market of Kazakhstan, but also exported to Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
One of the significant results of cooperation was the implementation of a project for production of hay-baling twine. Thanks to the project, the Company managed to reduce costs and direct the saved funds to further production development. The expansion of production facilities opens up additional opportunities to increase the volume of production and the range of finished products.
In the course of the meeting, the parties also discussed the prospects for further cooperation, including the possibility of applying the KPI Forsazh investment program to support new projects of Kazpolysnab and expand its production facilities.
KPI continues to develop cooperation with domestic polypropylene processors paying special attention to their production needs and growth prospects. Such cooperation contributes to expansion of finished product output in Kazakhstan, strengthening the position of local producers in the domestic market and developing their export potential.
