KPI employees take part in the “KMG Skills” Professional Excellence Championship

Atyrau hosts the “KMG Skills” Professional Excellence Championship among employees of NC KazMunayGas JSC Group of Companies. Kazakhstan Petrochemical Industries Inc. LLP (KPI) is represented at the championship by Daniyar Adilbay, operator of processing units, Gibadat Uzakbayev, operator of compressor units, and Raimbek Rakhimberdiyev, operator of processing pumps. The employees demonstrate their professional skills and excellence in their respective disciplines.
The championship runs from October 12 to October 14 and brings together 120 participants from 18 subsidiaries and affiliated organizations of KMG. This year's professional skills competition is being held for the second time.
Participants compete in three stages: detecting violations of safety requirements, first aid treatment, and completing practical tasks in their specialties. In the course of the competition, their professional skills and practical training are assessed.
The competitions are held at the sites of the Zhaiykmunaigas Oil and Gas Production Department of Embamunaigas JSC, Atyrau Oil Refinery LLP and APEC PetroTechnic Higher College. To ensure an objective assessment of professional skills of the participants, more than 40 independent experts have been involved.
The KMG Skills Championship is aimed at increasing the prestige of vocational professions, identifying the best specialists and sharing experience between the enterprises of KMG Group of Companies.
