Atyrau students are training at the plant as part of the dual education system

Students from the S. Utebayev Atyrau University of Oil and Gas are training at the KPI petrochemical plant as part of the dual education system. This program has been implemented since 2023 in collaboration between the university and the company, according to the Regional Communications Service. During this period, 17 students have participated in the training program, four of whom have found permanent employment in their fields. In addition, students receive two weeks of theoretical training at the university, followed by two weeks of on-the-job training at the plant. "First, we teach students safety rules. Then, we demonstrate the production process, process control, equipment development, and working with diagrams and installations. The students are highly interested. The dual education system is effective and provides real employment opportunities after graduation," noted Nurdaulet Yessimov, a process engineer at KPI.
