KPI held an event dedicated to International Anti-Corruption Day

As part of International Anti-Corruption Day, KPI held an informational and outreach event with representatives of the authorized body, the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs in Atyrau Region.
The event was attended by senior management, heads of structural divisions, and employees, both in person and online. The event was held at the KPI Plant, allowing for a combination of in-person and remote participation.
The Chief Engineer of KPI Inc. LLP welcomed the participants, noting the importance of raising employee awareness of corruption risks, their consequences, and the role of each employee in creating a transparent and sustainable corporate environment.
Nurlan Yerkebayev, Head of the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs in Atyrau Region, delivered the keynote address. In his speech, "Anti-Corruption Culture: A Smart Society is the Foundation of a Strong State," he outlined the state's key approaches to fostering an anti-corruption culture and emphasized the importance of personal responsibility, responsible behavior, and trust as the foundation for the sustainable development of society and organizations.
The event also included a presentation by KPI Compliance Officer Y. Dossymbekov, titled "Reputation — The Main Asset in a Corruption-Free World." The presentation addressed the impact of corruption risks on a company's business reputation, manageability, and sustainability, as well as the role of prevention, transparent procedures, and corporate culture in preventing violations.
Holding the event in a hybrid format allowed for a broad audience reach and engaged employees across various departments in a discussion of pressing anti-corruption issues.
The event concluded that such initiatives contribute to improving legal and anti-corruption literacy among staff, strengthening a culture of open dialogue, and fostering a responsible attitude toward compliance in their daily work.
KPI will continue its systematic work to develop a compliance environment and interact with authorized government agencies to strengthen trust, transparency, and sustainable development.
