In Q1 of This Year, Polypropylene Production at the KPI Plant Increased by 69.1%, Reaching 47.7 Thousand Tonnes.
This increase resulted from the steady expansion in the range of polypropylene grades produced – from 2 in Q1 2024 to 10 in the reporting quarter – as the plant progressed toward full operational capacity.
Total polypropylene sales rose by 50.5% compared to the same period in 2024, amounting to 44.7 thousand tonnes.
Sales to the domestic market surged by 122.3% to 4.0 thousand tonnes, while export sales increased by 45.9% to 40.7 thousand tonnes, with most of the growth driven by higher shipments to Turkey and Russia.
