In May last year, the KPI’ petrochemical complex opened its first external warehouse in Almaty, which reduced the delivery time for products to customers in the southern regions from 10–14 days to 1–2 days.
Today, more than 70 processing companies receive products from the Almaty warehouse, including EGP + I LLP, a manufacturer of packaging for dairy products, Zeta, a domestic company that produces furniture products that are in demand in foreign markets, Poliethylene-Agro, a manufacturer of polyethylene packaging, Kazpolisnab, which produces polypropylene threads, and other enterprises. Over 2.5 thousand tons of products were sent to customers from the Almaty warehouse in 10 months.
In December 2024, KPI opened a warehouse in Astana, which is designed for 500 tons of finished products and provided customers from the northern regions of Kazakhstan with the opportunity to purchase products in small batches, plus the delivery time for polypropylene to them was also reduced from 10 to 1 day. This is especially convenient for small processors, who previously had to order raw materials for a long time in advance.
From December last year to February 2025, about 184 tons of polypropylene
were shipped. Among the warehouse's clients are Alfa-Medical, a manufacturer of medical products, Kaiser Engineering, a manufacturer of plastic products, Aqua Atom, a manufacturer of polypropylene filters, and other companies.
This year, KPI plans to open a warehouse in Shymkent, which will improve the supply of polymer raw materials to processors in the southern regions.
The development of the KPI warehouse network makes polypropylene more accessible to customers, reduces logistics costs and contributes to the growth of the processing industry in Kazakhstan.
